I can hardly believe this woman.
My children's grammy...Tim's mom.
She came to visit from New Hampshire for a week and, well, we are just so blessed to get her.
I am so grateful.
She loves us all completely, just as we are.
She has extraordinary energy for playing. In fact, that is what she does when she is here, from morning until night. Her own needs are miniscule and she is ever willing, ever ready for PLAY.
We even watched the diggers together...
And that's not even all. This remarkable woman has been sewing for us. Check out these lovelies...
And more... matching hats for all the dresses, three pairs of adorable shorts for Elliott (he wore them day and night), and another hat for that boy which I'll just have to capture on camera to show you. We stayed up late sewing together and so I learned quite a bit from her, which was an additional treat.
Our grammy.
You are an explosion of love in our life.
Thank you.
(She is even into trying out the raw food and going home to buy a dehydrator. What an adventurous soul, she is.)
What matters most of all in the lives of our children is that they know they are LOVED. When you have someone, anyone, who is able to give that to them, open yourself wide to it, no matter what. Let go of any little ways you may harden yourself against it, and allow that love in. It is worth everything, don't you think?
Wow she does sound so amazing - I did see her in GFS willingly carrying bags of groceries around as you shopped! :) And what cute clothes she sewed...can't wait to see Elliott in his new hat.
