i was asked to nurse in another room...she was concerned what the other mothers might think. (i was in a daycare room at the gym)
At first i felt terrible, how come i didn't consider that the other kids shouldn't see this. Then I got mad because i was made to feel ashamed for feeding my baby. The positive...this was my first negative experience in 4 kids...8 years nursing.

You should do what I heard a bunch of mums did when a posh restaurant asked a breastfeeding woman to leave - organise a mass breastfeeding session with all the mums from the area! That might make them change their ridiculous policy!

wow - hang in there. i can't believe it. what on earth did you say when they asked? i was just trying to imagine what i would have done, and i came up with nothing. let us know if you need any help on the policy change. and as carrie says, nurse on!
