I finished her little ditty, with possibly the softest yarn I have ever touched (see it here) and given to us by Anne who won this hat which adds so much love, making it that much yummier. And guess what...shhsshhh i made up the pattern myself. I can scarcely believe it worked and I don't want to jinx myself by getting much fancier than this. For me, this is very fancy.
Elliott thought so too. When he saw her try it on, he said, "Saschy, you look fancy".
She loves it because it's finally something that isn't "too pwatchy".

This article tell the reality of very important organization and clearly gives the reasons that what they are doing. Very information article and actions should be taken against such organizations

Oh, thanks Kris. I making Jude a hat with sock yarn right now and it's slow going...I've poked the poor kid more than once with my dpns! Who knew that nursing and knitting could be so dangerous! I think I'll take a break and make a "fancy hat"!

Hi Anne: Yes Clementine needs a fancy hat, too! Now, lets see... I did the ribbing as 3 knit, 2 purl for a bit (let me know if you want exact measurement). I think I cast on 80 but maybe less. Darn. And then I increased on every stitch for first round of all knit after ribbing. Then knit for as big as you want, then decrease pretty quickly, every 5 stitches on first round, then four, (just knitting two together), then I think I panicked at one point and did one plain knit round, then kept decreasing until down to about 5 stitches. I couldnt believe it worked. And just so soft....thank you again. I am so tickled to get one of my very favorite things as a surprise in the mail!

I LOVE it!!! I wish I knew how to knit. I have attempted to crochet some things, but the finished products leave a lot to be desired. But this hat- it is really beautiful, you did such a nice job!!!

Kris, I LOVE it! Can you share the pattern? I think Clementine needs me to make her a fancy hat, too! And I'm so glad that the yarn meets her criteria for softness. Yay!
