HI Marta:
I looked up recipes using "coconut flour" as the search term. I have some in the fridge and wanted to use it. I also use the Gluten Free Mama recipe book and then make up my own alterations. That crust was pretty simple...some regular wheat flour with some almond flour (GF Mama) and some coconut flour then a bit of salt and coconut oil to get the right consistency. It didn't roll out like a traditional pie crust so I pressed it into the pan and then pressed it down over the fruit. Crumbly and delicious.

Thanks Tom. Glad to take you on a joyful trip through your past.

When I was little I used to pick cherries with my family and make kompot out of them. Those pics brought back tons of memories :)

HI Krista: We will be in Comox for three weeks. Where are you?

Teri

To the west coast you go! Have a great trip!

Marta

What cookbook/site you use for your sweet recipes? I have Nourishing Traditions but I'm looking for more sources of healthy cakes/cookies recipes.

Krista

Hey, how long are you going to be this way? Maybe we'll bump into each other! Depends on what part of the island you're visiting though. Happy travels and enjoy the island! The weather is finally amazing.
