Kris, so glad to finally see a blog. I think you needed that time off for finding yourself & what's important. Love of the winter & back country will transfer to the children, as well. Love you all so much!

love this! and, so needed to hear this tonight. after a rough week, letting it all happen, and feeling it all is empowering. how to balance the needs of three littles when they, too, need to feel it all and all at the same time, that one i am still trying to figure out ;) but, being reminded that it is not final, that continuum of change is ever-evolving, that we can look at every moment anew, that helps change perspective. thanks for this post, will be thinking of this one :)

i was just reading other rainer maria rilke today...so inspired by this: "let everything happen to you, beauty and terror". wow.

those emotions of the edges, beauty and terror and others help to round us out, temper us, shape us like clay, and like clay and that part "no feeling is final" we are all living entities always changing, even after we've been fired and hardened, if we open to the continuous, the flowing, the shifting...

thank you friend for that bit of awe tonight :)

Awesome. I think I just found my new mantra: "No feeling is final."
