Isn't it a curious thing how often we give ourselves to something we don't like? We talk and think about ideas and beliefs that we don't even LIKE and certainly don't want to be true? This can even be applied to "facts", those events or phenomena that we consider to be "just the way things are".
Terrible twos...
Horrible economy...
War in the Middle East...
PMS...
Just because something is common doesn't mean it is normal or healthy or the choice we need to make. We can make a change for the better in this very breath. The so-called facts of the world are far more malleable and fluid than we may realize. In an instant, we can begin giving ourselves to what we WANT and the world around us will follow accordingly.
Our Life Coaching Challenge is to go one week giving ourselves ONLY to what we WANT to be true. We live the life we want from the inside out. In our imagination, we are always free to live the richest most fulfilling life we can imagine, to be the version of ourselves that we most love, regardless of the outer "facts".
Try this for one week. If you notice yourself dwelling on something that you don't want, in your mind or in conversation...smile to yourself tenderly, let go of any tightness or resistance, and start again.
What we give our attention to, grows. Always.
